French Residence

Full Passive House retrofit of a historic 1904 Victorian family home in Oak Park, IL. After demolishing the entire interior, this house was retrofit with double stud super-insulated walls, triple pane windows, an airtight building envelope, geothermal heat pump and water heater, a highly efficient ventilation system, and modern finishes throughout the uniquely utilized interior. The project also includes a rear addition to the home, and a new highly efficient coach house to replace the existing garage.

I worked as the lead designer for all drawings, interiors, renderings, WUFI Passive analysis, and permitting.
