Artist StatementA line says so much, whether its curve defines a figure or the edge of metal cutting into space. I am fascinated with the reduction of forms to balance the communication of the most with little visual arrangement. With ink, watercolor, digital painting, steel or bronze, my media is versatile despite the conservative expression.
The themes of my work address the joys and struggles regarding romance, desire, intimacy, relationships to others and self. The artwork is conveyed through a queer lens that pulls from experience, where each drawing offers ambiguity for the viewer to relate and pour in their own perspective on its content.
